FULL – CAMP AWESOME: JULY 17-21, 2017
This camp is just, well, awesome! This 5-day, half-day camp introduces kids ages 8-12 to all sorts of fun outside activities and skills. Kids will be introduced to geocashing by Montreal River Outpost, horsemanship by Alicorn Stables, nature art project (TBA), intro to bike repair and single track bike riding by the BORA (Boreal Outdoor Recreation Association), and kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) by Montreal River Outpost. Awesome, right?
Waivers must be signed for this camp and all activities are taught by certified or experienced instructors. The only pre-requisite is that that the kids have a sense of adventure and love getting dirty, sweaty, wet and the odd knee scrape. Registration is managed through Gordon Denny Community School. Please drop by the school to register or call Recreation Coordinator Kelli Natomagan at 306-425-2997 ext.4
